Holy crap...thought I was going to swim this morning but nothing doing. Will have to push to tonight. I could not get out of bed. Its all about nursing the quads. Still its far better than anything post mary that I've experienced.

 

Oh and I want to give a personal shout out to the Posse and the Weiners. It was a great time at the PP this past weekend. First time that I didn't feel like a stranger at a race. It was nice to share the experience with you and look forward to many more.

Rest day plus I pulled an 11 hour shift on the floor at Run Chicago. Tonight is "Spike Night" for the local XC teams. Lots to do.  Will be (and was) on my feet all day. Not really good for my adductors and quads.

Rest day today (minus the 20 minutes of yogurt). A minor zone 3 effort tomorrow morning to shake the legs and then maybe sneak in a scout swim up in the PP. WEEEINERRRRRRRS....WEEEEINERRRRRRS.....WEEEEEINWERRRRRS....WEEEEEEINERRRRRS....

That time and length is bogus. I have no idea how far I went this morning. Just got in and swam 100s with plenty of rest in between. Just enjoying the water and the ease of working on stroke technigue and sighting. Only one of the 100s was serious just to get the ticker pumping. Ahh the purity of the no expectation taper workout.
