Down rt 7 to Maines and back

Last nights run was rained out. With rain threatening todays ride I jumped on the bike at 9am and got in a marvelous ride. Right knee was hurting for the first few miles but felt fine for the rest of the ride. Still no gym membership = no swim today. Too busy with work this week to get that straightened out. First hike of the year planned for tomorrow if the weather cooperates. If tomorrow's hie does not happen I'll do the local 5K on Saturday. If the hike does happen I'll have to see how my legs feel before heading out to a 5k. It'll depend on the mileage and the intensity of the hike.

No swim today. Pool closed and have not renewed my membership yet anyway. UBWO done this am. Need to get back to 2 UBWOs a week. Long ride planned for this afternoon.

Trail run in nature preserve. distance is estimated. time includes unleased dog avoidance, probably 2 minutes

Nice trail run in the muddy nature preserve. Ran non-stop (walk across wooden bridge) to other side of preserve with no trouble. Planned a 1 minute rest before heading back in but just as I was going in there were 3 people with 3 dogs heading in with me. They unleased their dogs righ next to the No Unleased Dogs sign. I decided to avod running until I was out of their sight. Luckily they were walking slowly but it added at least 2 minutes to my run. Was going to run back in after finishing the first loop to meet today's time goal but didn't want to run into them again. So today's 32 min run and Monday's 19 min run should be switched.
