One slow loop around brain with water stop

Feeling a little better today so I went for a slow run. Got to get back to morning trail runs. I find it much more enjoyable.

commuting

I've been trying to deny it for days but it is obvious. I am sick. Blah. I'm had a latent migraine and no appetite since sunday. Yesterday I get a scratchy throat that is worse today. Plus this morning my asthma started bothering me as soon as I got out of bed. I cycled in to campus this morning, the shortest way possible. If I feel better when I leave tonight (in 10 long hours) I'll go the long way and try to get some miles in. If not it is the short way back.

5 minutes front crawl, 5 minutes backstroke then lost count

Today's lesson: Wearing a swim cap and goggles when you have a migraine is a bad idea. A low level migraine turned into raging one as my brain was compressed by the headgear as I performed my flipturns.

Route 7 to Powers Rd (Rt 161) and back

Got the long ride in this am before the rain storms hit. Didn't feel great on the way out but got better as the miles went by. Need to start giving some serious thought to hydration needs as the rides get longer. 24oz was just enough for this ride. Pace was generally a little faster than what is recorded. Stiff headwind on the way back slowed me down a bit but not nearly as much as the city bus I kept getting stuck behind. Luckily the winds kept me from dying from exhaust fumes. May try to get in a run or some tennis this afternoon but the storms should hit here any time now.

June 18

Recover from 11 hour pub crawl and dance festivities.
