Nice ride up Lookout Mountain, then back by Red Rocks, through Morrison, and home. Chilly out with blasts of gusting wind.

Back to Denver and relaxing.  Going to be really busy this week, I'm afraid.

Whoa! Blistering heat and humidity in Dallas made this just brutal. Under 10k, but had to walk/run the second half. Didn't help to eat a giant gourmet burger with fries right before run. This just about killed me.

In Dallas working on presentation for this evening.  Whee.  Thankfully, home to Denver tomorrow!

Fiery night last night....

Run today was unreal.  Never run in so much heat and humidity.  What a nightmare.  I've heard that training in altitude like Denver is tough, but this place is nuts!

Flying from Toronto to Dallas for afternoon meetings.  Didn't give up last night until 4am, with a 5:30 wakeup to catch the morning flight.  Not good.

Same run as yesterday with Buddy and Mike. Went further today on same course, but Garmin registered it at over 1/2 mile shorter. So, Garmin's good at estimating things, I think, but the accuracy's sort of questionable. Pace seemed quicker today, as well. Another difference; not staying up until 2am eating pizza and drinking beer the night before.... That likely makes a bigger difference than the Garmin!

Another full day in Toronto.  Meetings start at 8am and run into the night tonight, so it was good to get in a 6am run.  Nice commitment, bro!

Ran with Buddy along rough roads of Toronto. Stomach blew up at very end. Not sure about distance, as Garmin sort of struggled.

Emergency quick run on treadmill at Royal York Hotel, Toronto.

Morning Finance Committee Conference call followed by flight to Toronto.  Landing at 4:20pm, then to hotel.  Hope to get a quick workout in before having to head out to dinner.

Pretty easy ride up to Cherry Creek Res and home. Carried two guys on the DU cycling team most of the way, then they whipped past me up the final hill before the dam. Kids!

Nice to see that I can still swim 2 hours. Been a long time, but it wasn't a problem. Biggest issue is the irritation of the swim goggles for that long, as I like to wear them pretty tight. Ready for Alcatraz!
