Well that was NOT the run I needed two weeks before race day. What a mess. Took first 1/2 at ez pace and then plan was to pick it up in second half. However, the good stuff never came, just bad, slow stuff. Really frustrated. Hip was sore to start and pretty much stuck with me and added to that was a very tight calf (on opposite leg). Really discouraged at this point. Plan is to cut back miles pretty big time in next two weeks and get as rested and flexible as possible and then just hope for the best on race day and hope it is not a turd like today turned out to be.
