two-for saturday because I have stuff going on tomorrow. Have to be honest, just like yesterday's swim, I had to drag myself out to do this. Just not much fun to do something you are not very good at. Windy conditions didn't help my cause.

Run  was much more enjoyable, although I was a bit fatigued.  Decided to hit one of my favorite, but most challenging courses.

Hills of Delafield!

Will do something today, not sure, but it doesn't matter because it is the off season! If I was a betting man I would say run though, because I love to run.

UPDATE short on time so I made it count. Pleased as punch on this pace for this route.

October 12

It has occurred to me that I have not taken a single full on rest day since the marathon. Truth is I don't feel burned out or fatigued at all. In fact with reduced volume I have lots of energy.  Another myth busted for me was when I crossed finish line, my first thought was, "that was a blast I want to do that again"...not that moment mind you, but in the future. No running today, but a bike or swim if I can fit it in.

UPDATE Spoke too soon. Not getting home until 7:30p.m. from work did me in. Oh well back at it tomorrow.

Weather too nice not to do something today. Probably a bike. Not enough daylight left for a ride, how about a run instead?
