"L" SD run

Did this weekend's long run (which really wasn't  long) today because I'm racing this weekend. Behaved myself and kept it slow (I hate seeing 9's in my runs) and EZ.

Well last night's session must have taken more out of me than I thought.  Was going to run this am, but seriously overslept. Will have to try and sneak some miles in tonight.  I am about 90% sure I am going to do Oshkosh, sprint, this weekend.

UPDATE Supposed to be recovery pace of 9:00 to 9:15.  Hit the mark perfect, but humidity, heat and hilly route had me working for it a bit.

Hill track. session. tonight.  UPDATE turns out the only thing we did at the track was w/u and cool down.  Was more humid than a humidifier...or something like that.

was supposed to be 7, but with all the crap that comes with monday, could only squeeze 6 in.

UPDATE Took my 10 year old to Ottawa Lake for a little swimming, only to find a water quality warning. She was so bummed that I drove us over to Pewaukee for a swim. Was so late that we had limited daylight before we had to call it a night.

Quite tired after driving 7 hours to Indiana and back to pick up my kids from camp yesterday. Supposed to a rest day, I needed to spend a little time with my  bike.  After a few miles of grumbling to myself about a slow pace and weak azz effort I looked around on the trail and saw all the weekend warriors enjoying themselves and smiling, even going 12-14 mph. I thought to myself, this is stupid. If you aren't enjoying yourself, why even be out here. So I turned off the trail, hit some hills through the Kettle Moraine forest and enjoyed the rest of my ride.
