22 degrees!!! Great run with Keith Murray who was in town for the weekend. (He's kicked my a$$ 2 years in a row at the Dorchester sprint). We just held a comfortable, conversation pace the entire run. My legs felt great! I had my running tights, under armour shirt, long sleeve t-shirt, windbreaker, gloves and a skull cap on. Keith had shorts and a long sleeve t-shirt! I guess I need to HTFU!!

I got up this morning at 4:45 for a ride, had my lights in place last night. Had all my winter clothing laid out because it was going to be just below 40 out. I walked into the kitchen and saw the thermometer ........... 31 degrees!!!!! Forget that!! I went back in bed and slept.
When I did finally wake up to get Karen off to work I set the trainer up in the basement for the winter. Crazy day running the kids around, seeing my new nephew, switching phones at Verizon, raking leaves, making breakfast and dinner. I hope to jump on the trainer tonight but who knows!!

I'm Running!! I RUN!! My legs are back to normal! Felt great on this morning's little run. Kept it easy and had just a hair of shin pain after about 2 miles. I wore the Skins socks that don't seem to offer a great deal of compression. Anyways, I'm glad to have this one, as short as it was, done with.

I got home from work and my mom was fixing dinner for the kids so I was able to sneak out for a quickie!! Damn that felt good!!! :-)
Just spun the legs out with a few laps around the TT loop. Tried to keep the cadence around 95 and HR in Z-1 and managed to do so.
AAAAHHHH!!!!! I am officially going bonkers!! 3 days and no workouts! This is killing me. To top it off I have been working at a hospital across town and have had nothing to do but sit around. At least today it's raining out, the last few days I have had to watch perfect trtaining days go by only to get home and have no time to train. Karen's been picking up some extra shifts at work, the kids have activities galore and my dumbass said that I would help coach the swim team rather than swim myself because one of the coaches retired and the other is due with a new baby any day. I love to coach, don't get me wrong, if there was an extra couple hours in the day it would be easy.
Anyhow, rant over. It'll work out, it always does. :)
