Felt a little like a fish without fins for the first 1500 yds then started to feel better. Still very tight from the run Sat. Held 2:11's on the hard 200's which I felt pretty good about.
Dreadmill run. Legs were shot from Saturday's run in the beginning but loosened up nicely and feel great after a stretch!

What a great run!! Legs felt great. Totally cleared my mind and was pleased to see 1:41 at 13.1 miles. I went a little longer than planned partly because I felt great and partly because I didn't want to go up the hill at Airport Rd. :)
I am still liking the display of the Polar over the Garmin but the ease of uploading to the Route Tracker is awesome! I can tell you that the people at Garmin really don't care if you can see your HR displayed, you need a magnifying glass to see your HR in the corner of the display.
The end of another crazy week. I am really getting tired of the cold weather, not that warm weather will add time to the day. The training has to pick up a few notches, the Fly-by-Night is only 9 weeks away and I haven't even ridden outside yet!! Ugh!!
The last couple weeks has been an emotional rollercoaster as well. Karen found a lump on her breast and went in for a biopsy last week and it came back "atypical". Yesterday she had the lump and extra tissue removed and we should find something out Monday. Needless to say my mind has been a bit scattered. I caught up with the surgeon afterwards and he said everything went well but that he took some more tissue to have a good sample to test as "atypical" cells have a chance to be malignant. I asked if Karen had told him to just take them both off because she doesn't need them and he said she did in fact tell him that. :) I looked at him and said "You didn't, did you?" :) She has a bad sense of humor!!! Jeez!
Anyway, that's a bit of what's been going on in Bob's life besides the normal kid's fighting, house a mess, laundry piling up, MIL forgetting how to take her blood sugar, etc.
I am looking forward to my 100 min run today even though 50 minutes of it is going to be at race pace. I am just waiting for the temp to get out of the damn teens!!!

Nice E-pace run that felt great. Legs were fresh and I went through 16 oz of water and 2 gels. 1 throne stop at about 4 miles.
I ran into PsychoEddie at about mile 6 and said hello, nice to put a face to a name. :)
Tried out the new Garmin 305 that came in yesterday. I like the accuracy in distance but really don't like the HR strap. It is very heavy compared to the Polar Wearlink and even at an easy pace would start to fall down on my torso.
