2013: My Second Season

June 12

Looking like another rest day.  Rough, hot morning at work and just not feeling it.  I DID, however, go to the doctor today for my shin.  It was just a family practice through our workplace but she referred me for an x-ray.  It could happen tomorrow or it could happen a week from today, depending on when the approval guy is in his office. But it will be done within one week at the most- finally!  7 months of BS could have a light at the end of the tunnel.

June 9

Was on the fence about doing some light training today but the sinus headache I've been battling the last few days is getting out of hand.  Still, I rode 8 horses today (been doing that every day but no longer recording it) so that was enough.  Just going to rest up for tomorrow.

So today was supposed to be a run day but the shin was throbbing at work all morning.  Going to ice it and baby it til the race on Sunday, and then try and just jog the run portion.  Anyway, had a good swim workout.  My hard 100 was 1:46, which is fast for me!
