Attended our Sunday club run for the first time since fall. Was planning on 3 or 4 but got carried away chatting with one of my favorite run partners ever- a cute, little 70 year old lady! She still runs 5k's in the 25's and 26's. She's my idol!
Master's swim workout. Long course setup today. Feeling a little awkward breathing to my right side lately- arm wants to sink. Need to find a good drill for that.
Swim workout done. Debating a run tonight. The shin is feeling really good...
Run went well. Very easy, slow pace to test out shin. There's a little pressure after the run but nothing abnormal. Should hear back from xray soon but I have a good feeling about it.

Although I planned to stick to all easy runs I had to sneak a tiny, wee, little bit of speedwork in there. Snuck in a tempo treadmill mile at 7:13 just to let the legs remember.
Straight swim (no drills) at YMCA during busiest time. A little crowded circle swimming with breast-strokers. Never underestimate the kick of a breast-stroker in your lane.

Easy run on technical trails. Shin has slight pain; going to keep at it for now.
Master's workout. Lots of 100/200's and pull sets. Need to work on higher elbows.

Group ride that was not to be. Hubby lent me his race wheels to test drive but apparently they weren't compatible with my cassette. Had to scratch.
Trail run with DH. Pushed the pace for 2 miles (tempo trail pace). Felt good!
