rode the streets in darkness. Kind of nice but spooky at the same time. Did not know where the potholes would come from and had a deer run past me about 100ft ahead. Creepy. lol overall felt good. Bike still needs a tune up

Well after looking over the other Great BTers that are doing Imoo in 35 days I have come to the conclusion that I am F*@&ed!!!!!! Im not even close to the hours and miles that they have put in for the year. I thought I was doing good expecially after Racine. NOT!!!! I have been kidding myself this whole time. My training more resembles someone who is doing a half not a full Ironman. So my goal at the begining of the year was to break 12hours at Madison then after Racine thought I could break eleven. I have to revise this. New goal is to break 14:36:00 (2006 time) and not to injure my groin more then what it already is. I have been living in a dream state for the last 6 months. Either way Im going to give it my all and cross that finish line running.

FELT real good today. Just a little tightness in the groin at mile 5. Extremly hot and humid. Pushed the last 2.5 hard and felt great. No where near what I wanted hrs wise for the month but still the best month of the year.

Ran from apt to I-55 and back. Felt pretty good and hit the hills hard. Ran 1:40 secs faster on way back. Groin a little tight towards the end but nothing unbearable. I think Im just going to have to train with it and go to doctor after Imoo. Im racing no matter what so I don't want to hear a diagnosis until after. lol

Rode the streets to frontage road. Took it to I-355 and back. Felt ok. Some wind going out average around 17mph. Still need to get bike tuned up. Something rattling and cannot seem to locate it. Average workout. Run in the am. No problem with the groin. Not going to get the month I wanted hours wise, but still not too bad. Shuffling kids, work and seperation from wife is no easy task. Life will get better. lol
