I finally got a new pair of running kicks and started to break them in today. The rest of my running shoes have well over 500 miles each on them. I stayed with what I know - Asics Nimbus. This time Orange and Silver and they look FAST.
Decent nooner run. I went out hard to work on leg turnover for Saturday. I slowed the pace coming back, but still much faster than I should running for IM training. I am having some doubts about sub 1:40 for Saturday. I'm not sure I've been running enough to keep that pace for the entire run. We'll see.
Swim tonight - I PROMISE!!!!!
Great endurance swim tonight. Straight laps with zero time against the wall. Considering the fact I hate swimming, I kinda enjoyed myself tonight. ;)

Up early for a run of the Biscayne Bay Bridge. This is probably my favorite running route in my travels, but I wasn't feeling it this morning. My body is just a little too tired considering I've had 2 out of 3 days off. Oh well, I think that is part of this training thing - learning to push when you just don't feel like moving forward. Busy day today work-wise. Hopeful hotel bike tonight.

My travel plans have changed a little, so I get to run the bridge again tomorrow morning. :)

Off to Miami later this afternoon for a couple of days. Hopeful hotel spin bike session tonight and planned Key Biscayne bridge run tomorrow - one of my favorite runs!
Registered for Dismal Swamp Half Mary today. The race is Saturday and will be my first stand-alone, non-pacer half marathon since Feb, 2006. Sub 1:40?????

Rain washed out my outdoor plans today.
So, it is a couple of long drainer rides, plus some time in the water.
Drainer ride #1 (2:30) finished..............
Swim is done. Drainer ride #2 is next.
Drainer ride #2 (1:45) also complete. If I never sit on the trainer again, that will be TOO soon!!!!!
