First HOT run with blazing sun the entire way. Also the very worst PMS day of the month, I already felt really crappy. At mile 5 I almost melted and decided to do a run/walk the rest of the way. 9 minutes run, 1 min. walk. That helped a lot. Had GU at mile 4 and picked up my water bottle with gatorade in it and drank it from 4-8. Then had nothing the rest of the way. Blood sugar was fine, even a tad high when I got home 140. The bottoms of my feet even hurt the last mile and they don't ever hurt! Just a HOT run, that's all. And it wasn't even so much the heat, it was the blazing sun. Had a banana w/peanut butter when I got home and lots of water. Feel better now.

Ran too fast the first 2 miles. Trying to get this route in under 40 minutes eventually. Today was close, but after 2 miles I had to slow down. Gorgeous weather though!

Treadmill run split before and after spin class. 1st 2 miles were at 6.0 with 5m on 1% and 5m on 0% grade. Last mile was after spin just at 6.0 no grade. Had never run after spin but it felt great.

I feel so much better running WITHOUT my water bottle. How does one use their arms while carrying the hand held water bottle without being lopsided and having a tired arm? Beautiful weather today.
