fucking ouch. i had to walk the last .3mi home, so i didn't log it.
it's so embarassing to wear running shorts and a garmin and be WALKING. i wanted to hide.
well, 3+ weeks of resting my knee was worthless.

I am signed up for the ROCstar families 5k at Queeny Park this Saturday.  Should be a great course and beautiful day for a race.  I should probably run sometime this week so I don't forget how, though.

i WAS hoping to race Saturday, but nobody would watch Bennett for me.  Oh well, we had a blast running all over the course cheering for mommy.  she did great, by the way, besting her time last year by 90sec!!  what a difference a year makes.

i've been given clearance to do a 5k next weekend, so hopefully i'll make that happen.

otherwise... MORE TENNIS!

 i'll continue getting my knee back to normal, and i AM doing the Pere Marquette Endurance Trail Run in December.  Remember, the fall/winter is actually my favorite time to run outside. yay!
