Nothing in Moderation :)

September 8

BIG THANKS to everybody for checking in on me.  I wish I had something to log.  As of today, I feel great.  I've been celebrating by eating guilt-free, and doing a little drinking at some wedding festivities this week in Philly.  It's been a lot of fun.

As for plans... i've signed up for a tough trail race in December, but I'm honestly not sure what to do with myself now.  Do I bother finding out what's wrong with my knee?  Do I do nothing for a month?  Should I cancel my gym membership since I probably won't be itching to swim?   Should I get my tennis racquet re-strung, or look for a volleyball league instead?  I need to do something.

Which sport will i dominate next? :)

I'm enjoying my 'downtime' and I sincerely hope y'all are too!

I love to analyze numbers, so obviously Ironman is a good chance to do that.

While my swim and bike times weren't particularly impressive, they were SMART.

But how's this for shocking.... (i still honestly can't believe how i just kept running. i was on a mission.)

I ran the 43rd fastest marathon of the entire field.

If you just want to include AGers in that, it was the 31st fastest because I beat 12 of the pro marathon times!

Forgive my bragadocious attitude, but I'm just still reeling from the experience. :)
