couldn't find my HRM strap, so i went w/o it. it took more effort today to his this pace, than it did on tuesday on the flats. i'm really happy with this run because it came on the heels of good long run.
i'm nervous as hell to add too many miles too quickly, but i'm feeling like i've hit a pretty good 'stride' with my running, so i want to capitalize on it and keep building. this is where a good training plan or a coach would come in handy.

Big River Running Co. Track Nite -
w/u - 1mi
1600 (800) - 5:50
1200 (600) - 4:23
800 (400) - 2:45
400 - 1:09
c/d - 1mi
I went out a few seconds too fast in the 1600, but just held the pace because there's no sense in backing off too much in the mile. This was a fun workout because as the distance gets shorter, the pace increases, and the rest diminishes. And the last 400, which was supposed to be run at our 1mi race pace, was pretty much all out. everybody was racing to hit the lowest time possible. I haven't run that fast since high school!!
