Midday run from work in the ick. Snow on the ground, some weird stuff falling out of the skythat hissed as it hit the snow - but it was fun to be out in it instead of at my desk. I didn't see any other runners out.

Remembered everything except my Garmin so time and distance are estimated.

Cold run in the dark - left with the 10-minute rule figuring I'd be more likely to finish my run in the cold and dark than on the treadmill. I guess I was right.

The "It Figures" story of the day:  I needed a quarter for the machine in the ladies room, so I looked in my desk as usual - no quarter.  Ok, out comes the purse, dug through it with increasing levels of nervousness - no quarter.  Also no ones - I had a brilliant idea to use a $1 bill in the soda machine to get a quarter's change...no dice.  Asked the older gentleman in my office for change for a five - nope - but he did loan me a dollar.  Ah-ha!  Off to the Pepsi machine, Pepsi purchased and quarter firmly in hand.  Got to The Machine to insert my hard-earned quarter, said a silent "Oh Please" as I turned the knob (because you know sometimes it doesn't work) and was rewarded by the thunk of the little cardboard tube.  Triumphantly paraded it into the stall, sat down and discovered that the tube was EMPTY.....   Yell 

BTW, I think chlorine is medicinal.  I feel much better this morning after swimming last night.
