Cut it shortt mostly to get the earlier train home but just wasn't feeling it anyway. Plenty of time to get the swim back to where it was.

Felt great. I think I'm back. Wuz supposed to be 4 one mile intervals but I ran my friend Phil into the ground so we stopped short.

Got some confidence back in my health after yesterday's double. Feeling better every day. Swim and run today then OWS tomorrow off my boat. I'm also adding a mellow ride w/ my friend just for some extra T.I.T.S. Last long ride is Satruday (4 1/2 hrs) most of it wb w/ a group but they are planning mostly LSD so that's in line w/ my thinking. Follow w/ a 45 min run. Sun - 1:30/:45 Run/Bike than it's Taper Time.

Felt good, normal breathing. Still, kept the intensity below what the plan called for.

Little cough afterwards. I'll take it easy on tonight's 1:40 trainer. May cut it short too.

Nice night for a ride so I took it to the streets at a pacer easier than the trainer wuda been.

So Gail thinks I'll be standing in line on Saturday ro register for 09. I had no intention. Now she's got me thinking. All of sudden all the training seems like a blur anyway.  Someone save me please!

Felt good. Was able to hit the HR targets w/o any apparant strain.

That was a plan w/o so I'm feeling good about it.

Easy lunch swim planned. Same w/ the trainer tonight. I don't think I'll have my head back on straight until I get a few workouts under my belt.

Real easy jog around the block after working up a sweat coaching Matt's summer hoops team.

Checking if my legs still work. They do :) and so do my lungs :) :)

X-rays were negative! Dr said the stronger meds have already cleared what she heard on Saturday. I can ease back into excercise.  WHEW, feel like I dodged a bullet. Thanks all for your well wishes.

Lesson learned: Listen to your body... and your spouse (It was Gail's idea to go to the Dr right away)

another day off my feet, letting the anitbiotics do thier thing. Haven't had two days off in a row in 7 months, let alone 3 :(   Fingers crossed for a clean x-ray tomorrow
AC was a good distraction. Fun, but not profitabe. It's  a differernt place sober though. Not a single drink :(

June 28

There was no choice today - Dr. over excercise.  There's "something in my lungs" I'm on antibotics and can't get a chest x-ray until monday. Won't know more until then. I'm trying not be too bummed and taking it one day at a time.

Hopefully just another twist in the journey. Certainly not the way I planned it. Be safe. 


I'm going to AC anyway just to be distracted. The only thing rollin today are the bones.
