I am back from Austin. It was a great meeting! Lots of positive feedback about the program, so I am very happy. There were a few glitches but all in all it worked out. They will need to adjust a few things for next year. But my cochair is now the chair for the program committee so she will be a step ahead of where we started for this meeting.
I had a good meeting with my event planner/chef friend in Austin. We made some plans and set a date for my "jump start" paleo party idea. I have some work to do over the next couple of weeks but all in all I think we have a good start.
The other news; I have another job interview on Friday, the 13th. This came out of my last interview at MD Anderson. It's with there space planning group. The second interviewer mentioned them during my first round that I would be a great fit for this group. I applied on Monday, they called my on Tuesday. We'll see.
So, I am off to crossfit! It's been a few days and I am ready for a workout. I will stop off at the farmer's market after as well. We don't really have any Easter plans but there are always the last minute plans that seem to pop up.
Breakfast: avocado and 2 boiled eggs
Lunch: boiled egg, coconut water with pomegranite and acai berries, pecans

Today was a complete sweatfest!!!
New times for crossfit begin today, 8:30 instead of 10. This will work out better for me right now so I can get it done and home by before 10 and get on with my day. Tomorrow, in order to get it in before I head to Austin, I will go at 5 am, ugh! I will do a body weight workout through the rest of the week at the hotel gym or in my room. I am looking forward to the meeting overall but not happy to be leaving home for four nights. Saturday will be fun though since I am meeting up with my friend to cook and talk about my potential business plan.
It's Monday. I am less cranky this morning but still not in the best of moods. Maybe a good hard workout will help my head.
Breakfast: steak with smothered cabbage/collards
Lunch: fresh spinach and steak salad, carrot, radishes, green onions, celery, mushrooms, mayo based dressing, yummy!
Supper: a mix of good and bad :( too many nuts, a liverwurst, whole grain sandwich; roasted chicken and greens. Still wanting to snack, but have decided to drink, drink, drink, as much water as I can manage for the evening.

Have a wonderful day, whatever your beliefs!
Today is a cookup day. I have several things to prep for our Easter dinner plus food for the week. I am trying a couple of new things as well. I found some great herbs and greens at the market yesterday so I will incorporate all of that into today's creations.
I must also work on some Personal Paleo stuff today. I have a friend who is still very interested in me cooking for him and his roommate. He wants me to put together a menu for him. I have a form that I am developing to go along with that so I will understand what types of food he likes, dislikes, degree of paleo, gluten free, and on and on. It's in handwritten form at the moment. I am excited and oh so nervous about this little adventure.
So, I am off to the kitchen for the next couple of hours. If the weather is great where you are, get out in it!!!
