I got up early and headed out to meet up with my new chef friend at a local farmers market.  He was gracious and helpful and is now my new mentor.  I am looking forward to having him to bounce questions off of.  He's been in the professional cooking business for over 40 years and he knows everyone!

Wow!  I am a bit overwhelmed but finding my feet, I think.  Food talk at the gym last night went well.   I have flyers and I will get business cards set up today.  So many details, still, to get completed.  Shopping, cooking, packaging today for the meal package order.  I will have more than enough to take samples to friends as well, I think.  I will take some flyers to a couple of other crossfit groups today as well. 

Insurance, certifications, licensing yet to be completed but on the list for today as well.  Calls to be made.  I need to see the kitchen at the club as well to see how much storage space I will have access to and how to manage it.  This is longterm thinking but I will also keep my eyes open for a small, retail kitchen space to lease.  It would be so great to not have to "borrow" space from another group.  Too much cost involved right now but that's where this is heading, I think.  Hubs is on board but I want to get some cash flow going before he feels like he's supporting the house and the business.  It would be great to get a commission check in the mail soon as well, just add another buffer layer.

So, crossfit this morning, shopping then full day of cooking.  Tomorrow is farmers market visits and resource networking.

Today, I am a full time chef.  No more sales gig.  Another bonus; I just recieved a check for a meal package from a gym member.  It's on folks!  It looks like I will be doing premade paleo meals to sale out of the gym as well.  Lots of work ahead but I am very, very excited!

Went to crossfit today for the first time in over a week.  Tough workout.  I will be sore all over since it was a pretty even upper/lower beat down!

Off to do some food shopping for the house and a few errands.  My first food talk tomorrow at the gym then it's full on marketing and business development stuff.
