Deadwood up over Terry Peak, down to Spearfish Canyon and back up and over. Big long climbs.

Had a pretty good ride. I hadn't been on this route for a few years and I felt good. It started with about a 9 mile climb out of Deadwood, some very steep but all of it pretty harsh. Tough 3 mile climb back out from Cheyenne Crossing on the other side. Hadn't climbed like that with this bike, which has a compact double so I wasn't sure of the gearing but it was fine. Used all of them though.
