Off day though I should have made-up that indoor ride that I should've done.

MS: 4x600 on 15'
I did this on 4/3 breathing to make sure I stayed slow as this was initially going to be a 3600 yard record set...but I had to cut it short due to time.
*I couldn't keep track of my laps and time for the life of me.
CD: 20' hot tub
Excellent question here. To me it seems obvious, but I set the OP's point of view since we train differently and probably for different reasons. Going to think about this and get back to it here...

I'm going to bag the indoor ride today and do it Saturday. Ball of my right foot still is a little tender. I don't like to do that the day before a long run as my legs don't feel fresh, but it will have to do.
