I'm liking Cain. Very contrary to the other contendors who just seem to say what everyone else says and 'I will create jobs' though with an unspecific 'how'. Cain is to the point. He is a businessman...I really like that. Which should mean he knows the importance of a balanced budget. That was one thing about Obama...before the election, I liked him, I liked what he said...McCain seemed to be in politics too long and I doubt he would have brought change. But Obama had a short record in the Senate and no record as a businessman...that is what scared me. Hence I did not vote for any of them, they were both bad in my opinion.
The fact that Cain has no political background scares me some, though maybe it's unwarranted, we need solutions at this point...solutions that are not amorphous and solutions that don't ad debt.
Will see. I have not done any research on Cain, my feelings at this point is just what I have heard/read online and on TV...which may or may not be accurate.

Rainy run.
Need to figure out the off-season plan. My lazy approach to training has gotten lazier the last month since the last tri. I need to start strength training again, I think for now I plan to run 3x per week and swim 2x per week....30-45 minutes each.

ADHD
In my opinion, 95% of the kids honestly do not need medicine. It's more of an excuse for the parents to sedate the kid. I do not doubt that the remaining 5% actually need it and it helps. Kids are hyper, they have energy. Anymore if you don't go outside with your kids to play or let your kids outside to play for hours, they will get cabin fever. Evolution has no reason to create a significant population of ADHD kids. The kids need to play, release energy and get interacted with. I would bet that many parents who want their kid treated with ADHD probably let the kids roll all over them on discipline issues...like what you see in Super Nanny.
Just my opinions. I just hate the fact that we rely so much on medicine that is ultimately unhealthy when we can just live and eat healthier, pay more attention to our kids, and let kids do what they need to do...be kids.
