I think the new 'report spam' button will work really well.  Our mods to a great job but we usually don't have a lot of coverage in the state forums.  

There is a new breed of spammer that will post half a dozen relatively innocuous posts before spamming.  When this gets brought to our attention, we can then clean up all the other nonsense leading up to it.
