I could barely finish this run. I started out nice and slow, didn't want to push it at all, but by the .5 mile mark I knew I was in trouble. Of course my left shin was on fire. But I also had some pain in my right shin. An overuse injury after just a couple of weeks??? Shin splints. This sucks.

Ugh. I knew it was going to be slow, but damn. This was also the first time I've run pushing a jogging stroller. It was pretty congested in the beginning and a lot of the race was spent trying to dodge people and avoiding pot holes. It was nice though. I didn't have any goals for this and knew going in that I was just going to take this one easy. I stuck to that, and despite the bad ass humidity I ran the whole thing. I love that race.

Much needed rest day. But spent the whole day at Jazzfest, which was a blast, but my calves are on fire! Lots of walking.

Early AM workout. Was hoping to get 5 miles in, but my body wasn't having it. I tried to keep the pace slow, but I was just beat. I think I need a rest day.
No specific pain in legs, just my cardio felt weak and my body in general felt weak.
