I rode over to the Y to take a swim. I was on my 1990 Specialized Rockhopper - which is tricked out for biking with the kids. What that means is - permanent saddlebags for carrying gear, and cages on the pedals, a mirror, grippy tires.
It snowed on the way home! The roads are pretty sandy, icy and lots of frost heaves.
Mostly working on drills. I did a 50 at 1:00 then another 50 at 1:05. Those are pretty good for me.

What a gorgeous day. Today, I start a 10 week sprint plan to get me ready for the Marblehead tri in May, and then so I will be in good shape for our vacation to Portugal.
The distances should be easy for me to hit - I just want the discipline for the swimming portion.
It would be nice to improve my swim times!

On the recumbant trainer at Y. I did level 8 then bumped up to level 10 on a hill workout.
Treadmill
5 min. 6.5 mph
10 min. 7 mph
2 min. 6.5 mph
3 min. 6.5 mph incline 1
Beautiful day for a walk! 30 min. walk in the sunshine.
10 min. on treadmill at Y as a cooldown from running. I did 5 min. at 4.5 mph, then 3 min. at 4 mph, incline 2, 1 min. 4 mph incline 1, 1 min 4 mph incline 0.
