WU: the WU is 15min build to Z2. Then 5min of 30sec @ 150 watts, 30sec at 250 watts.
MS: the "surges" are inserted into a long block of Tempo (Zone 3). They are evenly spaced, 10sec, seated efforts. Done as follows: the set is 30min continual at 190-200 watts with a cadence ~90RPM, every 5th minute shift to one harder gear and do a 10sec "surge" (try to go above 400 watts), then return the tempo pace. 6 surges total

*** Went to the PT today and it looks like no swimming for me for a couple of days. It isn’t a serious injury but I pulled a muscle which is hard to work/reach and I need it let it heal properly so It won’t bother me down the road. Oh well, if I can swim again on the weekend I’ll have 11 days or like 8 sessions to cover 20,000 yds, that’s at 2500 yds a session… NO WORRIES fellow Pooltriots I won’t let you guys down! ***
