September 7
not a good day, I think I am coming down with a cold or something and my chest feels congested. I decided to skip training with Cancun so close. I dont want to risk getting full on sick and end up losing a week or more recovering.

M pace run
tough run, it was high 70s and 86% humidity and 9-10 mph winds with some rain here and there. It made it perfect Cancun like weather training but it was tough for sure. (fif the heat was mid 80s would have been perfect :)) I wore a compression sock on my left leg for my damn injury (yes I porb looked goofy) and it seemed to wroked quite nicely as I had minor to none discomfort/pain. Legs a bit heavy from wed FTP session.

steady pace run
WU: 500EZ, 300IM
MS: 3x500 on 6:15min - R:30
CD: 200EZ
Nice tempo pace swim. I did 3x500s on 6:15s (1:15 min /100yds) and I managed to hit all my sets and felt good. Legs a bit tired from yesterday's TT.
it seems right now due to my stupid leg weird injury that no Sports MD/Chiro/PT/Podiatrist knows what the hell it is, I cant run more than 30-40 min at a time right now before it flares up and starts bothering me nor I can run to often. It seems right now I have to wait 2-3 dasy at least otherwise the pain turns worst within a few minutes of runnung. So who knows how well I can run at Cancun but at least I'll keep on biking and swimming and see what happens

Charles Baker 10 Mile Time trial
---
TT #s: 9.8 miles, 263 watts, NP 264, VI 1, 97 rpm, 24.6 mph, 42 TSS.
bad bad bad headache... damn allergies/sinuses...
after work I went home and basically SUAT. I packed my bike and drove to Concord to do the Charles Baker TT. I did 1 loop 1st and rode 5 miles easy and 5 miles I rode @ 250 watts as warm up. Then I did the TT and it went well, I avg 264 watts (not the best but solid) and my speed was 24.6 mph which was good considering it was windy. All in all a good solid threshold session

Easy pace run
chest very congested although no coughing (hich is good) and runny nose got better with meds. I felt i could do a little something but I skipped swimming cuz it tends to make my colds worst and biking would have been tough to get out and ride. I decided to run although I was nervous due to leg injury but I did the same routine as saturday (active stretching as warm up, massage on calf, and wore compression sock) and it felt fine which is nice for a change.
