Well, I missed my pre-race warmup (and the start), took several major falls, smashed my GPS, and got seven stitches in my finger, but I had a pretty good race at Soapstone today. My watch said 1:59:49 which is ten minutes of my course PR. My new Lone Peaks took good care of my feet, but I just couldn't seem to stay upright today.

trail run at work. new lone peaks are good for a comfortable trail run, maybe not quite as responsive as my lighter shoes, but they will keep my feet safe on the tough stuff. good to go for soapstone this weekend!
