Something is going on, again, with Milo's eye. It turned kinda white and his eye comes to a "point". It looks freakin' disgusting. It doesnt seem to be bothering him that much, but I have a call into the vet to see if I should be concerned about it or not. I took some pics and sent it to them, but not gonna post them here, cause its really freaky. Hopefully its just part of the healing process - new eye tissue - and nothing to be concerned about.
I have some upgrades to deal with tonight so probably wont do any training today.

Time includes rest. Felt really good in the water today.
Weather: 75F, S winds w/ some stank on 'em

Easy run. No HRM, but it felt a bit more labored than pre-IM. Felt pretty good throughout.
Good news about Milo!! He is healing and his eye is looking better (medically-speaking), although visually it still looks really messed up. He is improving so those super-drops must be working. He still has a 4mm ulcer on his eye, but it is healing now and not getting any worse. There will be a little scarring from all this stuff on his eye, but it is totally recoverable and he will have full vision once everything is healed
So, next follow-up appt w/ the vet is late next week. Hopefully the ulcer will be healed, then we can take him off the antibiotic drops and doc said we will start some steriodal drops. He still has 4-6 wks before everything will be completely healed.
I think I might swim and run today. ;)

Congrats to Joe for BQ'ing yesterday! Also to the other people (Sandi, travis, Jeanne) for completing the Fox Citites Full/Half marathon! Nice!!
May go running tonight depending if I have to bring Milo in to the vet or not. No word yet back on the culture, but it seems like we stopped the infection (from what I can tell). It obviously isnt really bothering Milo much since he's running around the house like theres no tomorrow. Though, his eye still looks kinda bad - swollen eyeball, very hazy and "marbled-looking". Dunno if thats good or bad. Ill find out today though.
Update: Just talked w/ the doc and got the prelim results for the culture - nothing grew, meaning no bacterial infection, or the body killed it off, or one of the anti-biotics killed it off. Dunno what that means exactly, but Im bringing Milo in this afternoon so he can take a look at him.

Easy ride. Felt good. My leg hair is starting to grow back and it feels funny when on the bike. HR was on the high side. I dont like that about the off season.

Nothin' like 14 hrs of work yesterday doing cable routing and switch installing madness. Ugh... Everything looks like its working good.
I ate like absolute junk yesterday too. I think thats the worst I ate in well over a year. Thats the last day of that crap.
