Feeling better, but the cold is still hanging around. Should be done with it by tomorrow.
And today is the day that I would have departed for IMFL..... :(
Still battling a head cold, so we will see how I feel at the end of the day on whether or not I push a workout. I want to run, but I think it is best to get over this before getting back into the workouts.

Had a great run yesterday and then got in a few more miles chasing down Team Chippy and the many other BTers out on the course. Congrats to Cindy and Chippy for completing their first marathon.
October 29
Garmin time matched race time, but the distance showed 6.3 vice 6.2....guess I did some zig-zaggin on the course. I am counting this tenth, but I am not counting the many extra miles that I ran (see below) because I didn't have the Garmin on....and without the documentation, those extra 6 miles or so never happened.
Had a good run during the 10K. Felt really strong throughout. Took the first half easy, then pushed a bit more on the second half. After the run, I got my warm clothes on then went out on "the search" for Chippy's cookies. She wanted sugar cookies from Subway, but little did she tell me that there aren't any Subways in the great DC area.....but what Chippy wants, Chippy gets. I ran through many different suburbs to get her the damn cookies and had to booked tail to get to the meet up point at mile 21. Goal accomplished!!! More to come in the race report....
All the BTers looked great on the course. What a great weekend.

Scheduled workout: 70 minutes. 30 mins EZ then pickup pace till end but stay aerobic.
Good run but could feel the cold. This may not have helped the cold, but definitely helped me mentally. I needed to get out and get a run in. Stayed very close to the Zones that I wanted throughout the run and this was at a much faste pace than my old Z2 pace and without the run/walks!
Andrea finished in 5th......Nice Job Coach!!!
Dammit...Bella Comerford took the lead....that bee-atch is flying! Fish is 3rd at the half-marathon turnaround.
Fish is first off the bike!!!
Damn, this sucks sitting here watching the IMFL coverage when I was supposed to be there racing! :(
Atleast my coach is kicking butt as usual on the swim...Fish was first out of the water and first out on the bike!!! Go Andrea!
Good run. Now it is time for some football.
Thought of the day: How is it that a song called "Relax" doesn't allow you do just that while running? Ahh...what the hell does Frankie know anyway! :)
