Great lunch run! I found a break in the rain fo rthe first 30 minutes but then got SOAKED for the last 30 minutes. I had a blast and had three fast intervals (all PRs): one around Mile High Stadium, one around Cuernavaca Park, and one around Hottie Loop - http://www.strava.com/activities/81977941

Rain, rain - go away. I have a relay!

My normal greenway paths were a bit flooded today - Cherry Creek and then Confluence Park:

Anacondas Rock!

Here is another snake photo that a friend took - it is too amazing not to share.  Cats are evil critters when left outside.  Please keep your cats indoors (we have two cats that we love but they are indoor only cats just for this reason):

A photo of Bailey for socks - no snakes today.  :)

Morning 2.7 mile with the new pup - http://app.strava.com/activities/81442318

Shit - just 4 hours of restless sleep last night.  Just crap but it did get me up early to walk Bailey which was an awesome pre-dawn walk after last night's 2 inches of rain.  I am really liking the big dog.  She is just cool and loves being with me.

I like to get out my snakes for some outdoor enrichment time but we have to watch them closely.  Here is my youngest watching our anaconda for me.  When the snake gets too far away, we have to bring it back to the center of the yard.  No - he did not pick up the snake - we just posed him for the photo.

Took a break from work to clear the head - I am just not in the game today. Nice walk but it is getting hot.

I have 4 runs planned today so it should be a fun but exhausting day.  This is my last big day before the Flaming Foliage Relay during which I will run over 24 miles in three segments in 24 hours.  My second leg is a 12.5 mile run of Georgia Pass which is over 11,000 above sea level.  I am running with a camera!

All runs today are commutes:

  1. 4.3 mile run to bus stop - COMPLETE
  2. 3.5 mile run to brain therapist - COMPLETE
  3. 2.2 mile run back from brain therapist - COMPLETE
  4. 4.7 mile run home from bus stop - COMPLETE
