Not much sleep last night, so decided to sleep in this morning and slack off on the spin class and body pump.  Well that what recovery weeks are for, being able to sleep in and not feel to guilty about it. :)

Nice easy recovery run on the mill, good tunes on the Ipod!! Just was not feeling the run this morning, tired and could not seem to get going. Glad it is a recovery week.

Foot still bothering me a little, but seems to be not so bad while running.

D3 - Core II & III and heavy life. WOke up with a stiff neck, so mch for the massage. :) So took it a little easy w/ the weights but the neck definitely feels better now.

Nice slow run on the mill, forgot Ipod at Aprtmnt and the time really dragged. Music is a good thing! :) My right toe is bothering me a little, only w/ shoes on and only while walking, a sharp pain. However, I can't find a spot by poking and prodding that is painful. Hopefully it will go away in a few days.

Swim felt really good today, seemed streamlined in the pool and played w/ my kick a little, e.g. "to kick or not to kick that is the question", 2nd 500 no kick 8:16, 3rd 500 kick 8:13 and a definite increase in the RPE.

Little or no kick seems to be the ticket for me, it is what I went with last year, and while I am still going to play with it a litte, is likely what I will do this year.

Going to get my first "non post race" massage today.  I am excited and nervous about it, but think that once it is over, I will be hooked.  I would like to get one a month for the season.  We will see!! :)
