Zone 2 Run (136-141)
Really did most of it between 143-146...Grrrrr!
5:30-6:30pm
90-94 degrees.
The only thing hard on this run was the heat and trying to stay in zone. I was walking some just to bring my HR down.
What was I suppose to accomplish or learn from this???? PATIENCE..What else! I'll probably be praying for this run on Wednesday when I have a 10 mile hill run. OUCH! :)

This is my worst ride in I don't know when. It's a tough ride with lots constant hills but not really tough hills. My knees got stiff and hurt most of the afternoon.
I think part of my problem was nutrition. I used my Infinit and once again I didn't really drink enough. This was a 2 hour ride and I only had one Infinite bottle and one bottle of water with Elyte drops. I didn't finish either and should have. We stopped about 1/2 way and got a ice cream bar (Banana...gotta be some nutrition there right?) That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Anyway, I should have refueled or went to gel after that and didn't I really suffered for the next 5-8 miles. Will keep playing w/ my Infinit to come up with a solution.
OWS swim at Boerne lake. Shoulder starts to hurt about 1/2 way across but I ignore it and eventually it goes away. I'm sure I actually did more than 2000 but that's what I was suppose to do and since I don't get credit for extra in a race I didn't take credit today.
Well I was suppose to be able to sleep in today but exhibit b decided he was going with Daddy today and that of course can't happen unless he wakes me up. Yeah, great to be needed right?
Today, is a 2300 OWS and a 35 mile bike in Boerne.

I probably need to do another timed T-pace. My last one put me at 1:55 and I couldn't even manage to swim that slow this morning (during timed swim :). I avg. 142-153..not super fast but getting better. I don't feel like I'm swimming real fast because I can't seem to increase my arm turnover but my pulls are stronger.
Core/Arms/Legs- Started ME weights. Lighter weights/ more reps.
I get a gold star for waking up this morning and another for getting up and 10 for doing T-pace swims. I can't function with lack of sleep. I NEED sleep. The good news is the album is done and I can get some tonight and hopefully sleep in a little in the morning.
Strength training at lunch.
Graduation parties tonight and tomorrow. The girls softball team is going to state and the game is in Austin. We may try and go up which will be fun but will also mess with my training.

Today was a scheduled rest day!!!
Last day of school. I spent it with 30 5th graders doing a historical walking tour of town...would that sound fun to you if you were 11 years old? Heck, it doesn't sound fun to me now. We survived though and had a pool party after school.
I also have been putting extra hours into creating a 30 page graduation scrapbook for a client. The deadline is tomorrow and it's finally done. I may pay her to get it out of my house. Now I know why I haven't touched my pictures in so long. There's not enough time for training and scrapbooking. On the upside it should pay for most of my CDA registration at the end of the month. :)

Came home and REALLY didn't want to get out on the bike but after a short nap I did it anyway. Took a couple of miles for me to decide to put some effort into it. Had a headwind on the way back. Focused on a round peddle stroke.
I don't like early morning runs before the body is ready to move....This morning had a breeze but I sweated buckets due to the humidity.
HRM issues this morning I'm sure I worked way harder than I was suppose to. Did the lower HWY 90 hill. Work going up but wicked fast coming down for almost a mile!!!

Did Drills tonight interrupted by neg splits. They ranged from 1:55 to 1:43.

Suppose to have 1000 recovery swim today but I'll bump it up to 2000 after work since I didn't swim yesterday.
We lost our last game last night but Michael did fantastic. It's so fun to watch him. I see LOTS...of ballgames in my future. I won't let him do All Stars in the summer till his second year of kid pitch and the coaches are already drooling. :)

My weekend miracle...
I have a diamond pendant on a gold chain necklace that went missing about a year ago. This was a gift from hubby about 8 years ago. It happened to show up yesterday with a load of workout clothes I pulled out of the dryer. I don't know if it got hung up in the washer or dryer all this time or what. However, it's back and I'm happy since I never fessed up to loosing it to hubby and now we can laugh about it :).
