This was my last big workout and I made it count!! Last brick I did was really hard and had to walk alot.  The ride was hard going out Centerville because of a major headwind.  All I could think of was, PLEASE give me a tailwind on the way home. Centerville is known for having a headwind in both directions.  Thank goodness not today!!!! Got back to the hood, changed my shoes and headed out.  Tried to keep the run a bit slower but the legs felt pretty good coming off the bike. YEAH!!! Still did a 9/1 cause I haven't managed a 6 mile brick yet.  At the 3 mile walked 2 min to get a drink. Last mile had to go to a 5/1 because I was starting to get a bit overheated. Feel a bit better about this race. I know that I've done pretty good sticking with my training plan, just wish my run was stronger.

Swim after work.

Swim went well. MAn that water was cold. They had closed the pool for 3 days and hasn't heated back up yet.  Try to do a brick in the morning and then have to get the club house ready for the neighborhood end of summer party.

Well, yesterday turned out to be a bust.  Got home from work and had to get the grass cut before it rained. Then had to get dinner and go to Bunco. Man I really shouldn't be tapering this soon but things just got in the way. Hope to bike and run tonight.

Got home from work and decided to get a quick run in before the girls got home from Great Wolf. Plan was to do the hood twice, but stomach had issues after the first go round. That's the fast run in my hood I've ever done.

Should have hit the pool this morning because now it's closed for a few days. Darn I hate when I get lazy in the morning. Ran while Abby was in dance class. Been habing ALOT of stomach issues and not sure what the deal is.  I wonder if my stomach is getting nervous already?? Or was it the Chipoltes from lunch?? All I know is the race will be hell if I can't get it under control soon.
