Stationary bike hills program. Tried paying attention to HR vs. RPM to see cause/effect. Don't think I got as good of a workout doing this, though. Tried keeping HR below 160. Want to learn about all of this HR "stuff!" (Ridgelake??) :)

Tried to take it easy after cycling. Ran 8 min. mile first 20 minutes, then cooled down with 12 min miles last 5 minutes. Hard for me to take it easy. I kept running into the bar in front of me!! But I forced myself to b/c the place is hot with no fans, and I was sweating like you wouldn't believe! Yuck!

So desperate to swim for an hour that I actually paid $7 for a day pass to the Y! Felt pretty good considering it's been 2 weeks since I've been swimming. Their water was soooooo COLD! I would stop for 20 seconds and get goose bumps. I guess that was my motivation to keep going! Improved my mood considerably too!

Stationary bike. Tried hills program which was much more challenging. Tried to keep RPM 80's to 90's depending on the hill. Also tried to stay between levels 13 -15, which didn't always happen, but I did pretty well. Stationary bike not much like really getting out there and riding, though.

Did many pieces of equipment focusing on upper, lower and core. 1x15 reps on most things. Tried out some new equipment never done before too.

1x12 Lat pull, chest press, shoulder press, hamstring curl, quad extension
1x15 back extension, trunk swings
Just trying out different equipment in a new gym. Need to balance out leg muscles. Hamstrings much stronger than quads and nonsurgery knee much stronger than surgery knee. Haven't checked that in awhile...
