April 24

Today is my rest day. Nutrition today has been good at work. My son and I made cookies last night. Ate three when I got home. This is my worst time of day for eating- caloric intake can be perfect until I walk in the door. Need to work on some sort of positive reinforcement/mindfulness thing to keep me on track for the last 6 hours of the day. Water intake at work needs to improve- will work on that as well. Run and tabata tomorrow morning early. I also need to pick an Oly for late June/early July. I would like to get three races in before the 70.3 in October.

Done with 20-25 MPH winds out and back. No pain. Had some fatigue 2/3 of the way back. Imagine that.

It is Confederate Memorial Day in Georgia. Discuss amongst yourselves. In the meantime, I am going to ride my bike.

We found a purebred German Shepherd puppy-very frightened and apparently neglected. Trying to keep it until we can find the owner or a good home. Will go to Tally and swim tomorrow. My favorite pool is open. This is very good news.
