Little dreadmill run, since it turned out to be my ONLY workout today.

8 am: Day 31 of the juice fast. In 30 days, I'm down 27 lbs. I'm going another 10 days, really liking the results.. it feels like I've been fasting forever, but I know that the 10 days will go by quick, as I'm hurling myself into prepare-the-house-for-Lukas'-birthday-party mode for the next 4 weeks.. ...and in my true fashion, I'm doing major home remodeling (well, for me), painting 2 big rooms and a hallway, complete with mudding a ton of stuff in each room, AND framing out 3 openings in said rooms (FIL will come help me put them up after I get them all ready to go).. plus workouts, plus N's swimming lessons, plus translating project, plus planning the party, plus decluttering the house, plus chasing my busy 2 year old, plus seeding the front yard, cleaning up flower beds, replanting rose bushes and cleaning up back yard, plus fasting. Whew... Let me tell you, I plan to realy enjoy that party and afterwards :) Off to get started on my hyper Mini To Do List ;)

I actually swam the entire 1600 yards without stopping once today! That's pretty big for me. Yeah, I'm still slow, but I swim the whole thing! I kept pushing my break back and got to 800, then remembered how John (jslacker) swam 900 yards without stopping, and had to beat him. Yeah, he then just started swimming, but who cares, i still beat him on that day ;)

Little run on the dreadmill while watching "Hot in Cleveland" on my iPad. Damon went to karate, kids were in bed, though of course not asleep and needing this and that. NIkita pretty much goes to sleep without an issue, but Lukas.. oy. He's at that age when he's got all this energy and no desire to sleep. I remember Nikita being that way too until he got a little older. This, too, shall pass...

Day 26, this mama is 23.8 lbs down :) 10:02 am: We are off to the gym. I'm going to swim a mile and then spend the next hour or whatever working in the cafe on my translating project. Got NO work done last two days and it's not good. Need to catch up today.
