hehe. 89 degrees outside, felt like 110. Lukas and I went for a run, he in the Bob, happily playing on my iPhone, me, wanting to die. You know when you dream sometimes, you want to run, but you are moving soooooo slowly? that's how I felt. The.whole.time. It was so hot. I figured this would be my first heat training and resistance training (being that Lukas is 34 lbs plus the Bob).
So, I kept asking myself, how did I ever survive Racine for 8+ hrs in 101 degree heat last summer? The answer is, I have no idea.
anyhoo, i walked more than I ran, but we did burn some calories and got some Vit D. Though at that time of the day, maybe more UVAs than UVBs? I don't know. I just can't win. My lazy nature was ticked to be summoned from the cool inside into the hot outside. Lazy nature is not happy.
A little swimmy at LTF. Lanes wide open, nice! I wanted to bike for an hour, then swim for 30 min while the boys played at the Child Center, but the Karate ppl took over the studio and wouldn't let me bike in the back. I was a little ticked. If you are going to take over a studio designated for smth else entirely, why not let a person spin in the back row?? I wouldn't have bothered anyone. Whatever. Spinning class tomorrow am.

Group run with my Galloway group. Went great. The first 12 felt super easy and flew by. At 12, my legs were feeling it, but we finished strong. This was quite a jump in distance for me, as this season my longest run so far was 11. But, no aches or pains, legs held up great.
Damon took the boys to the Jump Zone, so after I came home and showered, I was able to lay down for 45 min before they came home.. total bliss, I tell ya!
