Run with the Galloway group. Hot hot hot. Short week for our marathon training, but we did have a few folks doing 17 miles today.. all i can say is, I'm happy I'm not them ;)
thought of getting my bike ride in today, so I don't have to be up at 4 am tomorrow again (going out of town yet again), but no way. Projected over 100 degrees by 10 am, and I already feel weak and exhausted. Going to go to bed early, get up early and ride when it's not an oven out there.

Was going to do 800s, but hip was really hurting. Weird, never had that before. Felt like the muscle towards the back of the hip was spasming every time I wanted to run. Did a slow mile, it felt better, but i figured maybe not a bad idea to have a rest day? so i am :)

Slow bike ride. 98 degrees, and tons of people out on the path! not just crazies like us training, but normal people walking... really? in 98 degree heat? nuts. Anyhow, lost a lot of time trying to pass people, and it was a hot ride, so I felt really sluggish. (nikita was up at night with a toothache, so that may have had something to do with being tired, too..)

Started my hour long run on the dreadmill at LTF, then my mom called and i needed to talk with her about some family drama (sigh), and it took longer than I expected, so no more running got done..
Spinning class with Nancy. 2 big hills-15 min and 8 min one. Knees sore.
easy long swim in the pool at LTF. My knees were happy to be in the water..
