ZR run. No back/hip issues. Legs were tight but no pain.
For those of you who know me, you know that I'm race director of the 1/4 Marathon and the Solstice Sprint 5K. This year the Solstice Sprint is on June 15, 2011 at the MDC Reservoir in West Hartford. Poor swim. Took an elbow to the chin (I know have a bruised chin and 2 black eyes). Just never got into a good rhythm. I have no idea how to do a quality OWS.
Average Watts = 181
Other than back pain, this was a good ride. Hit my watts target and my HR target. For 4200 feet of climbing, not a bad pace. If only I didn't have the back issue.

Watts = 153
Out to the ridge, one loop, long way home. Back was good during the ride, but some pain when I got off. I figure with Quassy, I'm going to get off the bike and fell good and run or I'm going to get off the bike and crumble. I don't think there's an in between.
Fairly easy run. No pain, which waw good but I felt sluggish.

Out to the ridge and 3 loops. Felt really good. No back issues during or after the ride. Legs felt great. First time in a while that I've gotten off the bike without pain.
