Bar method beginner dvd.
Registered for the Hellyer HM. Still have my eye on the Woodside 35K--might be a good substitute for the last long run before Vancouver, as long as I take it at a reasonable pace.
I also have my eye on the Skyline to the Sea marathon and 50K from the same event organizers as the Woodside race.
January 19
This time includes a bit of cooldown. Main goal was a 5K test, and ran that in 28:30 (9:11/mile). New PR! Feel like I could get it under 28:00 without much trouble.
Looking at a couple of races to do in the leadup to Vancouver. The plan recommends that I do a half marathon somewhere around the beginning of March, and this would fit the bill nicely:

It happens to be on my old long run stomping grounds, so that'd be convenient.
