Woke up at 5:30 but decided that bed was a better choice than bicycle. Don't want to start the Vail trip tired. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

e-cises. I've been timing my routine in the morning to see where I can shave some time off. Turns out my 20 minute stretching and warm up routine has grown to almost an hour by adding this little exercise and that little exercise. All good stuff, but what can I cut out and still achieve my fitness goals, and stay healthy?

Rest day today. My legs have been so sore all weekend. They're still tired, but mostly the quads with hamstrings and glutes having recovered some.
Pulled weeds for fifteen minutes this morning. I like working in the garden early in the morning. There's something about the smell of the earth, and about the growing things that is just good. Saturday I scattered wild flower seed around the places in the garden that I had already weeded. We'll see how they do with the new watering restrictions. I cheated and hand wet them this morning for about two minutes. My goal is to be under the 10,000 gallons use per month of the average winter Midland household. I've cut back everywhere I know how, except I haven't had time to redo the lawn sprinklers. I did cut them back to my day only and cut the time significantly, but I want to go system by system and do some replacing of heads and specific shutting off of some systems. I plan to just not water the lawn at all and need to put in some soaker hoses that I purchased last week to water the trees. Don't want to loose the 25 year old trees.
Oh look, there's some green and yellow on last week's graph. It was a pretty good week for training. Foot was real sore yesterday, but is much better today.
Struggling with the project I'm working on. Just having trouble repeating results from five years ago. The numbers should be the same, but it's a complex modeling program. Anyway, perhaps I should see I can postpone tomorrow's meeting. I've got a meeting on Wednesday on my way to Vail and need to be ready for that.
