(9:01)(9:09)(9:15)(9:04)
Had some discomfort in left leg/shin/knee.
Jumped in, did 30 laps at comfy pace and jumped out. Not real sure on time.
Not to get too much into this, but to make sure I put this down so when I look back years from now I'll now what was going on.
Been spending the last few days with Monica (wife) and her family. Her father is at the end of his long battle with luekemia. He is home with hospice and resting pretty comfortably. Been a tough tough week and a half. Trying to be there and support Monica as much as I can. Long summer of training ahead. Family ALWAYS comes first.

Funeral Day:
The following is what Monica wrote for the memorial program:
"If all else take with you his testimony…
We feel our Dad’s journey is an example of God’s grace, mercy, and love. Our Dad was more then his diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, but it was through this illness that our Dad was able to show others that God’s love abounds. Our Dad was originally given a prognosis of two to four months. He may have been scared, but his faith never wavered. He fought his disease with a positive attitude and never ending determination. He always walked more then what was recommended, ate even when not hungry, and never felt defeated. If you know our Dad you also know, he never sat in one place for long!! He took every remission as a blessing, and made the most of every day! He traveled to Branson, Las Vegas, Mexico, Disney, North Carolina, Georgia, and took a few fishing trips. Even when he felt his worst, he never complained and Thanked God for his never ending love and mercy! We were blessed with the last three years, to get to really see just how strong our Dad really was, and to learn from his example of faith. We hope you can share the testimony of his Christian faith and how he lived with his terminal diagnosis, so others can have hope in the never ending abundance of God’s grace, mercy, and love that our Dad had the blessing of experiencing!!"
