Big Man Tri-ing Up!

Today's Highlights: Same time as earlier this week, longer distance, AND there was elevation change involved.
Today's Lowlights: Training seemed a bit more strained than last time. I was moving at a slightly faster clip, so that might explain it. Overall, I'm happy with the (small) progress I've made so far.

Stationary Bike
Today's Highlights: Got up and got my workout in...gonna see the tax man tonight, so I should be seeing a nice little chunk of change coming back to me tonight. All going to the house fund though - no play money for Dan.
Today's Lowlights: Had to resort to the exercise bike since there's still about 1' of snow on the sidewalks and boardwalk around here. And I don't trust the motorists around here to ride on the street at the moment. First time on this exercise bike, so it took some fiddling. I'm not 100% sure on the distance or HR measurements. I also found that the increment changes are fairly brutal (the max level is damn near impossible). I can't complain for $260 though. :)

Feeling a bit more flexible as I progress through this. Believe it or not, I get a decent sweat going in the AM with this too...it's 40 minutes of non-stop motion moving from standing to push-up positions to laying and back again. Constant stay of flux.
Today's Highlights: The training calendar I made, printed out, and put on my fridge has really acted as quite the motivator.
Today's Lowlights: My lower back near my tailbone, which has been screwed up due to landing hard on it multiple times two weekends in a row while snowbarding, prevented me from doing some of the movements today that required sitting or lieing on your back. I improvised as best I could though.

Today's Highlights: Good workout. I was very happy to find that, after 25 minutes of running I was not out of breathe or ready to puke. The pace was a bit slow, but that was intentional as I haven't run in over a year.
Today's Lowlights: One word - chaffing....got to remember those running shorts next time :)

Good workout. Had no trouble going with the ramp at level 10. Did a X-Country workout and really got the heart rate up. Maxed HR out at around 160.
Today's Highlights: Got up and did my workout firs thing. Felt good. We should get betting about 8-12" of snow tonight too :) I'm pumped about that! Today's Lowlights: Got invited to go out to my buddy's place tonight. He's only 30 minutes from where we snowboard (1.5 hour drive for me). The wife has had the flu for about the last few days and is just coming off it. We're not sure if she should go out right now...

Good w/o. Flexibility is coming along - I need to start working on the smoothness of the movement as well as holding poses without bending knees, elbows, etc. All in due time though.
