Working aid station for mini-mussel and ITU race. Was actually there 5 or 6 hours but I don't want to screw up the chart too bad! I had a great time hanging with a bunch of other BT'ers!!
Short basement brick this morning. It was way too foggy to go outside and I am going to Geneva for the mini-mussel and ITU races today, so I could wait no longer! :)
First brick since I adjusted the bike and the legs felt good off the bike for this short distance, so this is the set up I will go with!

I messed up last night setting the alarm :( ! This is not normally an issue as it rarely goes off before I get up and usually is just a back up. But, our clock has 2 alarms and I turned on the one for Connie (7am) and didn't wake up till 6:20. I was up a little later than normal feuding with my daughter. I guess more of an issue of me not wanting to let her grow up than a feud but, it still kept me up sulking :( . So I missed swimming this morning. Not a huge deal, I'll swim Thursday and Friday night with the masters. plus Sunday morning.
So I did a core workout and some stretching this morning. Going to bike tonight.

We had a nice relaxing day yesterday! I really struggled to get up for the swim, but when I got home I made breakfast for Connie and I. Went to the grocery store with her, came home and took a 2.5 hour nap and then did up some bbq for dinner with the kid's! Feeling great today!
I also spent some time cleaning the bike. I decided to make some minor tweaks (milimeters) to the adjustment of the seat and aero bars that I had been contemplating after talking with the guy that did my fit last year when I had it in a month or so ago. I had been a bit hesitant not wanting to change anything, but figured I try it and if I didn't like it I could move it back. After I made them I took a quick spin yesterday afternoon and tweaked a bit more but didn't have a chance to ride again. So I threw it on the trainer this morning to make it easier to get off and readjust if necessary. I really liked what I did! I was very comfortable pushing a higher cadence this morning and actually felt very strong for the effort. Wednesday I will try a longer ride outside to make sure!

I feel much better about todays swim after figuring up the distance! Of course I had to pick one of the choppiest days so far to do my over distance swim. Quite a work out!! Thanks to Dexter for pushing me today, I think on my own I might have thrown in the towel after 2 or 3 laps, but he pushed me to do the 4th! Thanks! I will appreciate that next week!
Now I need to figure out if it was the banana I ate before swimming or the choppiness that was upsetting my stomach. I rarely if ever get motion sickness, but I sure had a sour stomach this morning.
