Run
60m 7.00 miles -----
TREADMILL:
1 - Start well below LT and gradually build speed over 1 mile to slightly under LT (grade 1%).
2 - Next mile stay at same pace and grade.
3 - Next 2 miles, maintain speed:
- 2/10 mile @ 5%
- 2/10 mile @ flat
- 2/10 mile @ 4%
- 2/10 mile @ flat, etc
- on down to 2/10 mile @ 1% & 2/10 mile @ flat. 4 - Next mile and a half alternate between 3% and flat by 1/10 mile.
5.5 - Last mile and a half gradually increase speed on flat.
*Concentrate on turnover - when it gets tough due to increased grade, faster turnover, not longer strides.

After the convention ended yesterday, I needed to go to a political fundraiser. I got up this morning and realized I am behind in about everything. Home stuff, work stuff, working out, you name it and I am behind! :( It wont get much better this week either. I am going to Washington DC Tuesday for a couple of days, plus we have our annual meeting next weekend for work. Plus the Finger Lakes tri on Sunday (which I am really looking forward to!) :)
So my goal today is to get as much done as possible here, and spend some time on some work things.
It also meant I needed to get my workout out of the way early this morning. I decided to do my favorite treadmill hill workout. I was pleasantly surprised I strong I felt doing this as it has been a while (May) since I did this particular workout.

I'm at a conferance this weekend in Canandaigua. We decided to stay at the hotel even though it is only a couple of miles from home. Mainly because the schedule is for a couple of long days and I am also an officer of the group, so our rooms are paid for :) .
We played golf this afternoon. 20 registered, 12 showed up and 8 finished! It was a Lake Placid type rain for the front 9, cleared up some for the back.
Have a great weekend!

Track workout this morning! I hit the stop button instead of the lap button on the second 400 but I added it in the total and estimated the time. Other than the first lap, the other 5 were fairly consistent and didn't drop as much as last week. It was a bit chilly this morning, about 44 degrees according to the temp gauge in my car!
