Run: Long run
Good run on a fairly nice morning for running. I did the first 10 by myself and Mike joined me for the last 8.
Hmmm, if I get all my runs in this week as scheduled, I will be 1.75 miles short of 200. We can't have that! I'll have to add a bit to each one!

Couldn't tell if it was done raining or not, but looked like it was clearing up! 2 miles to go and it poured! :( Oh well, at least it is fairly warm for late October!

I was actually going to sleep in a bit and take the morning off, but started tossing and turning about 4 and threw in the towel and got up about 5. I got through most of the program without any extra breaks today.

Run: Medium - long
Meh, should have stayed in bed! :( Never could get the legs to loosen up and start moving, then I experienced one of the hazards of running on old sidewalks in the dark. Found a lip or a joint in the sidewalk that raised up about an inch and a half, wound up heading for the ground face first! Now I have road rash on my left palm, right leg and hip, plus the right thumb is jammed up! Then to top it off, it was a few feet away from the bus stop where 3 very nice ladies were waiting for their bus. Oh well, I'll heal and the run is done! :)

I think I need a vacation, but I think the closest to that before Disney will be another trip to CA in early November. 10 days and Connie is going with me this time so we can do some sight seeing over the weekend.

Maybe doing the plyo before the interval work is not such a great idea! I really struggled to get through the 5 miles at HM pace.

5:05 PM: Spent better part of the day being certified/trained in CPR/AED/First aid. Nice to have that under my belt if I ever need it! Hopefully I won't. CPR and First aid was something I was trained in a long long time ago, the way it is done and taught now is quite different!
