I tried to do tomorrow's 14 mile run, since tomorrow will be a travel day, but got a late start and had to cut it short.  So I did it as a progressive and pushed the pace up every couple of miles.  I think the battery may be going dead in the HR monitor.  It seemed to go up and down quite a bit, and I am pretty sure I worked harder than a 131 average.

Other than KAM! :) I have everyone's weigh in so I will get the chart updated when I get to work! :)

Run: Long run

First time at this distance the goal was to finish and try to stay consistent.  I think I accomplished that, although the last few miles the ankles were a bit stiff and tender.  I'm guessing the 75 miles in the last 8 days is part of the reason the legs were a bit sore today!

Ran the first 10 plus with Dudley, it takes a good friend to get out at 6 am on a Sunday to keep someone company on a run! Thanks, I do appreciate it! :)

Yippee!  200 miles for October! :)

Tough getting going this morning.  Went to a political fund raiser at the Wine and Culinary Institute last night.  It was fun, but some of the wines were sweeter than I am used to and I woke up with a sour stomach.  All is good now!

Happy Halloween!!!

Nice morning for a run! Probably over dressed a bit, but not too bad.  Didn't exactly run the workout as written, just tried to push the pace without over doing it.  I am pleased I managed to get through the run without falling! :)

TGIF!!!

Pure Cardio

The plan only calls for a strength training session today.  Since I haven't slept well for the last week or so, I took one of my Advil PM's and slept for 10 hours!  Boy that felt good!!!

Hopefully the weather gives me a nice day or 3 this weekend! 11 miles tomorrow, 6 Saturday and 20 Sunday, it would be nice to run in nice clear weather!

Probably wasn't my best idea to do the plyo before the 12 mile run, but it is done.  Woke up about 3:45 and couldn't get back to sleep, so I figured I would get up and get some work done before running.  Wouldn't you know it the internet is down!   So I figured why not get an extra workout done!

And as for doing the 12 miles on the treadmill instead of outside, it is cold and raining and I have been fighting a cold so it was the lesser of 2 evils!  Do sick or be sick!
